There’s no doubt that bass fishing is becoming a hugely popular sport all over the world. You can either try catching them in your local area or alternatively you can make a vacation out of it and enjoy the sport in a new area. Canada bass fishing is increasing purely because of this reason. The scenery that Canada has to offer is some of the most glorious you’ll find anywhere on the planet.
The main fishing season for Canada bass fishing starts in around March and will end in July. This gives you a full 5 months to explore what Canada has to offer. Quite honestly, even 5 months won’t give you enough time to explore everything. The mountains, the rivers, the wildlife, it’s no wonder that people are choosing to do their bass fishing there.
The area that produces the most bass is probably the North West Ontario area. Of course, bass isn’t the only fish available in Canada. Salmon fishing is also growing rapidly as there are some of the largest Salmon that you can catch anywhere in the world. There are also many areas that stock some huge pike, which is another targeted species by many anglers.
When you experience Canada bass fishing, you’ll almost certainly catch more small mouth bass than any other type of bass. These are very hard fighting fish that usually average around 6 pounds in weight, which is a great size fish in its own right. But don’t be surprised if you catch some large mouth bass too. These can grow a lot bigger than the small mouth variety and often over 10 pounds in weight. You’ll certainly know about it when you hook into one of those! So enjoy your fishing and experience the many things that Canada has to offer.
